Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology
Electrical engineering and information technology are among the prime engines of technical and economic progress. These two disciplines are helping us find answers to the challenges of the future in areas as diverse as automotive technology, power engineering and electronics engineering. The capabilities and know-how of engineers provide the foundation for these endeavors. The breakneck speed of current developments in information and communications technology in particular underscores the tremendous importance of engineers ‘achievements.
The Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology is a full time 3 year programme. There are three specialization in areas of Microelectronics, Integrated Circuit Design and Automation Engineering on offer for selection in the final year of the programme.
Graduates with recognized technical diploma from local polytechnics will be granted exemptions to complete the programme within 2 years. As a pre-requisite to start in the 2 year programme, successful applicant is required to complete a 12 weeks bridging course with satisfactory results.
