Industry Scholarships |
|
|
|
Limited scholarships from renowned partners and organizations in the industry are available to outstanding students. The selection for scholarship recipients is at the discretion of the relevant industry sponsors. These may be full or partial coverage of the tuition fees and in some cases, a monthly stipend.
The procedure for application of scholarships is as follows:
1) Submit a complete set of application (with all relevant documents) by 15 March for processing. 2) If you are accepted, your particulars will be forwarded to companies for consideration of a
scholarship in early April. 3) Results of the scholarship will be out by end of April.
Note: There may be cases where scholarship decisions takes longer than usual, and may be finalized in the first semester. |

GIST Scholarships |

|
GIST together with Technische Universitaet Muenchen (TUM) offers limited number of scholarships to students with excellent recommendations, academic and industrial backgrounds. These scholarships will lead to a reduction of the tuition fee from 20%-100%. The number of these scholarships are based on merit and never guaranteed entirely.

GIST – DAAD Scholarships
GIST-DAAD Scholarship project is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). This Scholarship is part of the “German Study Programmes Abroad” programme. Each Semester, 8 (eight) GIST – DAAD Scholarships will be awarded to students with outstanding academic result and good moral character. GIST - DAAD Scholarship will support students’ tuition fee and living stipends for one semester.
The scholarship is open for all GIST students except those who are recipients of Industrial Scholarships with full support on the tuition fee and living stipend.
Eligibility criteria for this Scholarship are as follows:
1) Good academic results
2) Demonstrated leadership skills and good moral character
3) Active in extracurricular activities and community services involvement
4) The need of financial assistance to support their study
