Your Internship

After studying two semesters, all students have to complete a two month internship - either an industrial or an academic - at one of our universities. After full time successful employment students will get 4-credit points (TUM), but no grade. The internship can be conducted in Germany, any other European country or Asia. Students with industrial scholarships will undergo their internship with their sponsor company. Meanwhile students without industrial scholarships will have internships arranged either by themselves or GIST. The purpose of the internship is to provide a structured and supervised work experience. This will help the students to gain job-related skills and to achieve their desired career goals. Before application for the internship there will be an informative meeting to provide our students with all necessary knowledge to succeed in finding the best place and company for the internship. This meeting will be mid of the first semester at GIST.
