International Experience

GIST combines the scientific, technical and business expertise of the East and West to offer its students a unique education experience that carries them successfully across geographical and cultural barriers. Through our cross-discipline modules and organized stays in Asia and Germany we provide students with invaluable insights into these two different cultures and actively support requirements of corporate need to overcome cultural differences in business. Courses in the curriculum include modern European and Asian history, give basic understandings of European art, music and theatre, and throw light on different customs and practices. A German language course is also conducted in cooperation with the Goethe-Institute Singapore.
